Meet The Women of Southern Valley

We are proud to be women-owned and operated for 37 years!

Being a woman-owned company in the produce industry fosters a more inclusive and diverse business environment. The produce sector, like many others, has historically been male-dominated, so women stepping into leadership roles can drive change and innovation. We pride ourselves on sustainable business practices, community-oriented values, and a more holistic approach to business. Being woman-owned has allowed us the space to prioritize integrity and social responsibility, and it’s given us the opportunity to cultivate deeper relationships amongst our company and customers. In an industry where trust and relationships are paramount, being woman-owned has allowed us to foster connections based on mutual respect, integrity, and shared values, all of which contribute to long-term success.

Woman owned is how we live and operate our business each day. Traditionally women stayed home with the children, men worked. But now things cost so much, we are a different generation. Culture is different. Times are different. More women work and that’s the “norm” to do what’s best for our families.
